WHO IS THIS COURSE SUITABLE FOR?
This half day course in the principals of manual handling is a knowledge and essential skill that everyone should have whether you have a responsibility in your workplace , at home or at play.
These activities are the main activities that come under the manual handling regulations (1992 amended).
These regulations require your employer to apply control measures to prevent or reduce the risk of injury to you from manual handling of loads.
WHAT IS THE OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE?
Knowledge and awareness of risks involved with lifting, employees will recognise that their welfare is top priority, the course will lead to people taking less time off work due to injury.

ASSESSMENT & CERTIFICATION
Candidates are assessed by the trainer through observation and testing, if successful they will receive a certificate valid for three years.
