CITB, SSP (Site Safety Plus)
This course is designed to give those who work in either construction or civil engineering a sufficient understanding of the safety aspects that need to be carefully considered whilst on site.
You can expect to learn about ways to ensure the safety of both yourself and those around you, consider environmental factors, and to be aware of your own responsibilities as well as those of the site manager.
Duration: This is a 1 day course.
The overall agenda of this course is to ensure that each person is aware of how to promote a safe environment. Each participant must be aware of their responsibilities, how their actions can impact others, and ways to deal with potential risks.
The laws surrounding safety on site will also be highlighted and you will be taught how to conduct risk assessments, implement control measures, and encouraged to seek advice if you are ever unsure.
This course will highlight the following:
- Ensuring contribution towards safety in the workplace
- Knowing what is expected of them
- Why they need to carry out their identified duties

If you successfully complete this course, you will be issued with a Construction Skills Site Safety Plus Health & Safety Awareness certificate.
